Is there any difference between the visual quality of reflection holograms made on PFG-03M and PFG-01/VRP-M?
Not particularly. • Can I use a Pulsed Neodymium YAG laser at 532nm or Pulsed Neodymium YLF laser at 526.5nm to make the H1 master on VRP-M and a HeNe laser to make the H2 reflection copy on PFG-01/PFG-03M? Yes, no problem. Many holographers are using this technique. You may use either PFG-01 or PFG-03M. Just check that your YAG laser is designed for Holography. • In the SM-6 developer Phenidone is required. Is it possible to substitute this for Methyl Phenidone when using SM-6 with VRP-M? Yes. • In the VRP developer Methyl Phenidone is required. Is it possible to substitute this for Phenidone when using VRP with PFG-03C? Yes. • I am using the VRP-M material for making reflection holograms of 30x40cm (glass and film). I am having problems with successfully drying the emulsion. Can you help? Drying is a sensitive process. We recommend drying by soaking in soapy water. 1 capful of Agepon (or equivalent) per 1 litre of water works well. Be very careful to clean your film or plate meticulo
