I’ve had to take zofran during my pregnancy which causes severe constipation. I have taken coloxyl (stool softener) a daily fibre supplement (benefibre or metamucil), every day to help, but if you want INSTANT relief get a suppository. Be sure to keep up your fluid intake and lots of fibre in your diet.
