The ‘Aryan Invasion’ theory has been well and truly debunked over the last 15 years or so. It started in the mid 1800’s by a reverend, who only helped spread the propaganda that the British wanted spreading. Think about it, the British considered themselves the greatest race at the time, and couple that with the Biblical chronology and admitting that the Indians had an advanced civilisation before the time of Moses would be blasphemous. I grew up believing in the Aryan Invasion theory as fact and when I first started hearing and reading criticisms of the theory, I just thought that it was pro-Indian propaganda. I first read the strong arguments in a fantastic book by Graham Hancock ‘Underworld’, which is predominantly about evidence of civilisations existing up to 10,000 years ago.
