Actually there will be. All spring piston guns have a double/bi-directional recoil. The first recoil is the force pushing back on your shoulder to counter the pellet being pushed down the barrel. This recoil impulse is extremely slight and you probably won’t notice it. The second recoil impulse comes when the spring piston comes to a sudden stop at the end of the chamber. This causes the gun to “jump” forward and will be noticed. There are ways some high end guns can reduce or cancel the recoil, or even isolate the shooter from the recoil, but all spring piston guns have this double recoil. Even co2 and pneumatic guns recoil (not sure if this is what you’re asking about, but might as well address it). However in that instance the recoil comes solely as a counter to force exerted on the pellet as its driven down the barrel, just like a firearm.
