Is there any special requirements for Sony DVCAM users?
If you are using a Sony DVCAM camcorder and editing with Avid applications, ensure to use the DVCAM format on the camcorder, not the DV SP format. There is a risk of audio errors when the clips are used within Avid. If you are using a Sony DSR-370, DSR-390 or DSR-570 camcorder, be sure to do the following on the camcorder before use: 1. Set the VTR Trigger to INT Only 2. In the Advanced menu (page 3) set the iLink CTL item to OFF 3. In the Advanced menu set the menu item REMOTE 2 to Record To get the advanced menu, you have to turn the camera off, then press and hold the rotary wheel while powering up the camera.
