You'll do better to give up the idea of "the system." The risks of long-term use of these drugs are pretty well known. Acetaminophen/paracetamol has only the possibility of chronic toxicity with overuse. Normal use is perfectly safe. Aspirin, ibuprofen, and other NSAID's have as their primary problem the risk of GI bleeding, and thousands of people die from that every year. People with heart or kidney disease also have to be careful about some of the side-effects. Doctors use risk-benefit analyses in recommending these drugs. Their patients tend to block out the thought of the risks, and expect too much from the drugs, but these things are known to the medical community.  more
