Is there any tunning that can be done to enhance the performance of the ThinAnywhere 3D Plug-In for Windows 2003 server?
A. On the Windows server, edit the “taw3d.ini” file (ThinAnywhere 3D configuration File). You can lower the “QualityAdjustment” value. This will change the compression and will only lower the quality of the image during animation, zoom, etc. but will also lower the bandwidth usage. That will help performance. The value for the lowest quality is -17 and the for the highest quality 17 is the value. You can play with the value until you get the results you like best.
