Is there any way to electrically heat a dirt path so snow will melt without shoveling?
The answers above are correct in that it is very expensive to install electric heat tracing under ground and run the electricity required to keep the area clear of snow and ice. These systems are usually installed in industrial or similar applications where equipment must be able to operate on the ground year round and the cost is justified. I agree that a snow blower or even a $10 shovel would be a more economical solution for you. And please don’t attempt to install your own underground glycol filled piping system. The leaks would pollute the ground or ruin your furnace. It’s just a bad idea.
