WiFi clients. The way things stand now, whenver I have any outgoing traffic from a WiFi cllient, the VoIP phone outgoing voice traffic starts to drop out. Answer: I use wondershaper to fix that. See link: http://lartc.org/wondershaper/ It depends on the tc(8) utility, which isn’t part of the default firmware image. You’ll have to build one for for the wrt54g environment from the iproute2 package and get it into the device somehow (custom firmware or post-boot upload). I’ve used wondershaper on links as slow as 128kbps upstream to provide priority Tx queuing for Vonage and SSH. It keeps voice from getting choppy and SSH from getting laggy even if someone’s trying to do a big pipe-hogging transfer at the same time. Of course, it’s going to slow down those transfers quite a bit because you can’t expect both a VoIP session and a line-rate FTP to go fast at the same time on a pipe that can’t handle both REQUEST: Would you (or another reader with cross-compilation experience) be so kind to c
