Is there Office of The Surgeon General (OTSG) and MEDCOM support for the 68w program?

0

Yes. In October 2000 the Army Surgeon General directed Health Care Operations to lead the 68w program synchronization across all three components. Since then OTSG designated full time officer and contractor support, developed a Process Action Team (PAT), a Synchronization Executive Council (SEC), and General Officer Steering Committee (GOSC) that have identified and resolved numerous issues affecting the program. Additionally, by providing resources or personnel, OTSG has been instrumental in marketing and education efforts.
