I replaced a 10 year old 5T Carrier/SEER 10 with a 5T York /SEER 13 compressor. The compressor is paired with the original UNICO air handler and coil for a spacepak air distribution system. The new compressor is freezing up; while cool air continues to flow, the York isn’t keeping up with warming outside temps. Note: Refrigerant pressures are within range and holding and, while it was measured, air flow appears empirically to be adequate, as well.
