Is there something wrong with being a subservient wife?
It all depends on her reasons for being that way. If she has no choice, and she is afraid to be anything else, then of course it’s bad. But if a woman decides to stay at home, and thinks “I’m pretty crappy at making decisions on that, he knows more than I do about money/houses/whatever” then there’s nothing wrong with it. The whole point of women fighting for their rights was so they could choose what to do with their lives. Staying at home and looking after the family while the man goes to work is just as valid as going out to work full time, as long as the woman is making the decision to do that herself (with support from her partner of course).
