Is there someway to tell about Fender Japanese Precision Bass Lyte?
Tagged As: Fender Precision Bass Lyte Question: I was interested in selling my Fender Japanese Precision Bass Lyte and was looking on Ebay to see how much to ask and while looking for similar models I find that the ones I saw had two pickups and the one that I own only has one. I bought this bass used and need to know which model it is. Is there someway to tell by the serial number? I’d like to sell it soon and get a bass with a more narrow neck such as a Mustang or Jazz bass Answer: A bass player I work with has a Mahogany Precision Lyte and it indeed has two pickups. Every Lyte model I’ve seen is configured the same way.
