Woods will NOT play in the AT&T Classic at TPC Sugarloaf on May 15-18. He’s competed in the event just once, winning it in 1998. Although he had already won his first major by then, he was still testing which golf courses he liked and best fit his schedule. Woods’ schedule is about as predictable as anyone’s in the world. He’s earned that luxury and can always add tournaments whenever he wants but he rarely plays three weeks in a row. He’ll compete at the Wachovia and then at THE PLAYERS in the two weeks leading up to the AT&T Classic. So, only an unprecedented series of events would force an entry at Sugarloaf.
