Is toontown and clubpenguin safe?
My 5 year old son plays both toontown and club penguin. Toontown is kind of expensive ($9.95) per month, but it is cheaper if you pay for a year at a time. He really enjoys Toontown and from what I have seen, it is perfectly safe. You can chat with other “toons”, but you can only use phrases that you select from a list, not actual typing. clubpenguin is similar to toontown and is also completely safe for kids. It is free to play, but not as much fun (to a 5 year old) as Toontown. As far as zwinky and cursor mania goes…. First go to Start>Control Panel>Add\Remove programs, and uninstall any of the following. 1. smiley central 2. mywebsearch Then run an antispyware program ( I use Spybot S&D) to remove the entries.
