Is travel to Bangkok safe,currently?
Yes Bangkok is safe. The protest you may have heard about is small in scale to the city. It is at a government building away from the tourist areas. And as far as the problem in the south, that is where the problem stays. Tourism is very important to Thailand so important that in Bangkok there is even a Tourist Police stationed around the city to help tourists.
