Is Turing a better language for teaching programming than Pascal ?
Empirical research has indicated that although learning a programming language is much easier than learning problem solving skills, syntactic difficulties can significantly hamper a student’s progress and that this, in turn, may affect the student’s ability to produce a logically sound, working program.
