Hello, can anyone tell me if it is nutritionally useful to feed vegetable suet (eg: Atora) to garden birds. If yes, can it be fed straight from the box or does it need to be wet and made into fat balls? The Atora suet is conveniently packed in bird size shredded pellets in the box so would be easy to put out on bird table or mix with other dry food. I don't eat meat and would find it unpleasant to buy and handle beef suet. Thanks. Jacqui.  more
