Yes, under no circumstances should wheel speed ever exceed 30 MPH when tire chains are fitted. The centrifugal force produced at high RPMs is immense, especially on tires over 40″ in diameter. Failure to observe this limitation poses serious danger to you, your passengers, your vehicle and others nearby. Clothier chains are intended for OFF-ROAD USE ONLY, and they should never be used on paved roads.
