Is Vinegar suitable for vegans?
Q Hi. I was wondering if you could explain to me the vegan status of vinegar. I’ve been told that vinegar can be filtered in the same manner as wine (eg. with bone, stomach etc.). Can you explain this to me? Are certain types of vinegar (eg. Apple Cider) vegan by nature? Thanks in advance. A I have tried to chase up your enquiry about vinegar, but have not had much luck. There does not seem to be much reliable info. around about this, and the issue is complicated by the fact that there is such a wide range of types and brands of vinegars out there.
