Is Waypoint for Windows Y2K compliant?

0

The NEW Waypoint for Windows version 3.0 is fully Year 2000 Compliant. All dates are entered as individual fields to avoid confusion and errors that often occur with various international settings. Years entered in two digit format in Version 3.0 will automatically be formatted to the year as found on the user’s pc clock. Waypoint for Windows v2.04 and earlier versions WILL encounter problems when calculating dates in the year 2000 if those dates are entered using TWO DIGIT YEARS. Years entered in two digit format will be assumed to be in 19xx. To avoid errors from occurring on these versions ALL DATES MUST BE ENTERED WITH FOUR DIGITS (yyyy) in order for ETA’s to properly calculate in the year 2000 and beyond. Dates entered using four digit years will be properly calculated for the vessel’s ETA’s.
