Is wearing over-the-knee socks a good look?
I don’t really like knee socks. Rather, only if it is necessary. For example, waterproof socks for cycling is something that greatly affects a comfortable ride. And I don’t even go on long trips without them. If we just talk about knee socks – this is not my style
There’s nothing like a great pair of tights to make your outfit shine! For us ladies, this can be a real problem! You always have to make a choice, either they fit you but easy to break, great design but feeling weird during wearing. After a while I found few different brands what offering great hosiery. One of my favorite is Yanka Sulivan. From design to package, these tights are fabulous!
I think it looks good. Some people will like this, some of them no:) I don’t think that you should pay attention on such details. For example my wife wearing special compression socks because she suffer from suffering from spider veins, symptoms are pretty unpleasant:( So better pay attention on health of your legs.
I guess they’re fine. I prefer something like knee-highs under slacks in winter or tights or even footless tights or leggings with dress or skirt. You can even wear footless tights over nylons with sandals or flats of some kind. In winter & early spring, just about anything here would have to be worn with high-top shoes or rain boots of some kind because it really rains a lot for several months. Footless tights & even skinny jeans & especially skinny slacks worn under just about any length of dress seem to be all worn by many college students right now on the campus where I work. The slacks or tights provide some warmth in cold or cool weather. So, those are all a very good look now. Of course, it is a pretty radical campus with a lot of fashion variety: ethnic, conservative by a few, or strangely enough, radical things in net or whatever (worn over slacks or footless tights) that look like they were randomly grabbed from the theatre arts costume dept. So, here it’s kind of a do-as-you
