NO. Portrayals of psychokinesis in fictional movies, television shows and stories (and usually even in those that claim to be “based on real-life events”), are enormously exaggerated for entertainment value. Movies like “Carrie” based on the Steven King book of the same name are an example of this hugely exaggerated Hollywood portrayal of this ability. “Normal” manifestation of psychokinesis is rarely spectacular because of the difficulty involved in using it in a controlled manner, though most who have witnessed or experienced psychokinetic manifestation have felt a great thrill simply from being present during an occurrence.
