Is Yellow Flax Better Than Brown Flax?
No. Brown flax provides the same nutritional benefits as yellow (or golden) flax. However, there is a different yellow flaxseed that looks like flax but is NOT flax. This is commonly known as solin which is developed from flax. Solin does not provide the same nutritional benefits as flax (containing less than one-tenth the alpha-linolenic acid found in flax).
