E.g., if your ISA server is not on your default route back to the internet, the packet with an external source ip address will not be routed back through the ISA server and can be rejected at your firewall depending on your corporate security policy. Q: ClientIPForwarder is installed correctly but I cannot see the client IP address. A: You must publish your IIS server (or any web server you like) via Web Server Publishing Rule on the ISA Server with ClientIPForwarder. Also try to run CIF without its .ini file and check its implicit HTTP_IPREMOTEADDR: (see readme.txt).
