Isn t the Horus reticle busy?
Imagine you driving on an 8-lane freeway. Your wife is talking to you, the kids are fighting. Despite a congested freeway with numerous signs, you drive to your destination faster than if you had taken a one lane road. Once you locate your target with the Horus scope and reticle, it is not necessary for your eyes to leave the field of view to range, correct elevation and windage. As you concentrate on the target you shall only see your selected point of aim. All other lines will mentally disappear. If you are using a Mil Dot scope to correct for elevation and windage you must physically adjust the elevation and windage knobs while mentally counting the number of clicks. Before taking the shot, it is usually a good idea to visually check to insure the power ring is properly indexed or you could miss the target. When speed combined with simplicity, accuracy and reliability is desired, Horus is the answer.
