Isn’t there more up-to-date information about youth fishing participation in Pennsylvania?
Youth fishing participation data is available as part of the US Fish & Wildlife Service’s National Survey of Fishing, Hunting, and Wildlife-Associated Recreation. This survey is conducted every 5 years, with 2000 being the most recent year for which we have data. We expect to have data for 2005 later in 2006. The Commission conducted its own survey in the summer of 2006.
