It appears that my child has memorized the reading words in order. How can I make sure that they know the reading words?
This is completely normal. I have put the flashcards in the baggie in the back of the notebook so that you can ask your child the words in different order and play games with the cards. You may give clues about items that are the color of the color word, have them show you how many fingers go with their number words, or you may want them to put the number words in order.
