It Crashed, Hung Up or Stalled?

The web is tricky and users are impatient! Often when a browser appears to be hung up it is just waiting patiently for a website to download. Digger is the same and many problems can be solved by just going off for a cup of coffee and waiting. If Digger is really hung up then here is what to do: 1. Close it down using Ctrl-Alt-Delete ( if that does not work then drastic measures are called for and ultimately you may have to turn off the power ) 2. Check whether there is a damaged image file in the ‘Download folder’ ( usually C:\WebThingy\Downloads ) and if so delete it. Unless you have chosen ‘Save files by OVERWRITING existing files of same name’ in ‘User Options'( see Question 45 ) then before Digger downloads a file it checks to see whether it already exists on your hard drive so as to avoid endlessly downloading the same file from different links on the same site.
