Ive got a network enabled database version of EZ-Forms ULTRA/GT/GOLD/EXECUTIVE, EZ-Forms MAGIC, or EZ-Forms DD250/MSDS/EXPORT. How do we allow multiple work stations to access the same database?
Note that all versions of EZ-Forms DESIGNERs and/or FILLERs are not necessarily network compliant. We do not recommend or support installation of Single User Editions (including all designers) onto network drives, even though you will still be able to access data on network drives. The simplest way to handle network data sharing is to install the program from each workstation to a shared network drive that is assigned the same drive letter and folder (subdirectory) on all workstations. e.g. [ M:\ezforms ] The installed path must be EXACT for this to work. This approach will be the easiest and fastest for installation and setup. However this method will also tend to reduce the operating speed of the program if several workstations run the program and access data simultaneously.
