Once in a while there are public service announcements run over some radio stations. Also theres word of mouth from friends or neighbors who have had to deal with radon. Today it is not at all unusual for someone who is buying a home to ask for a radon test either in the contract or they have the home inspector test for it, which many of them do now. Many times this is the first time the seller has heard of radon.
