For example, all the costs associated with doing the OFA and CERF testing to lower the chances that the puppies will grow up to have hip or eye diseases. You might be thinking “those tests aren’t that expensive!”… but what you aren’t thinking about is all the expenses involved in removing a dog from a breeding program if he or she fails those tests.
