Ive thought about boarding my cat for the first time, but am wondering if she will “fret,” become depressed, and maybe not eat?
When your cat arrives at The Catnap Country Inn for the first time, everything and everyone is new to the cat. To put your mind at ease, we are experienced with this situation and know exactly what to do to make your cat feel at ease, as well as safe and loved. Once your cat is in its assigned condo, we give them a little while to check out their environment. They very quickly instinctively know they are in control of their space. We begin talking to them, soothing and reassuring them that they are surrounded by cat lovers who mean them no harm. Cats are very instinctive animals and they know when a human is a cat lover. Soon we are petting and scratching their head, and they are responding to our gentle advances with rubbing of their own.
