Jobseekers allowance in ireland?

You may well be entitled to some jobseekers allowance, you need to contact your local social welfare office. If you are living with parents then their income would be assessed and you may not be entitled to anything but if you are living on your own and your employer cannot give you any more hours at present then you should definitely be entitled to something. If you are a student who is returning to college after the summer, I don’t think you will be considered for it though. It is always worth the time to enquire from social welfare.
