Lacquer Paint source?
While doing a repair on my hood of the MG PA, I thought that I had a sufficient amount of Lacquer left from originally painting the car many years ago. And as most projects always increase in scope and as long as I’m doing the hood I thought let’s do a few other spots. And you guessed it, not enough to finish the job. Nice base coats in the garage. I would like to keep the car in lacquer and not go the the new plastic paints. Granted it looks better, holds up better, but it is not original. By coincidence I was at a local Autojumble today at Ross-on-Wye (UK) and bought a can of lacquer from “Restoration Factors”. They sell all sorts of paint at very keen prices and are well known at the UK autojumbles and old car shows. They will post but I don’t know if that includes abroad. They will also mix colours to a sample. Their postal address is not on their business card but the phone/fax number is: 01298 81413 (UK) The card says “help and advice freely given” Paint for TC wheels My question
