Legal advise sought from indians?
If you look at it from different perspective, draftsman are suppose to prepare not only drawings but are suppose to help with any document and put them in presentable form. As long as some one is telling you how it is done you are a beneficiary of this efforts, you are learning new stuff and some one is paying for it. You should let the boss know very politely but in writing, that all this is new to you, you will do this task under the guidance and his or some one from legal departments supervision, you are appreciating the opportunity of learning this unique but new task that you have never performed, and do your best to finish it on time and in a professional way. Then do the job as best as you can, and learn it good. I personally take it as a challenge and a opportunity to get away from the day to day routine that can get boring.
