Library and Conference Rooms Q: Are there guidelines for guest presenters in the Psychology Library and other Seay conference rooms?

• Contact the Tech Staff (HELP@psy.utexas.edu/1-2006) to inform us of the date and time of the presentation, so that we can be certain one of us will be available to assist in setting up any audio-visual equipment. Allow for at least 10 minutes prior to the presentation to permit us to test the speaker’s laptop, to ensure that it is fully compatible with our existing system AND that the system is properly functioning. Gary, Bruce, and Mike are the most familiar with these projection systems, and equally able to assist with the laptop-projector setup. Remember that ALL Seay conference rooms have telephones installed so that users can call immediately (1-2006) if problems arise. Following these guidelines should help presentations run more smoothly, and will significantly avoid last minute panic situations. Q: We want to show a videotape (vhs) in one of the conference rooms.
