Lockerbie! How dare the justice minister release him?
As an American, I am disgusted. If he was tried in the US, he would have got the injection long ago. The people saying “let’s be the better person and show compassion” clearly didn’t lose someone dear to them in that attack. He didn’t show compassion to 270 innocent people when he killed them, so he should get none in return. Let him rot in jail with his cancer. -Pheemz- And given to the fact that many of the justice systems from such countries are softer than a marshmallow (As in this case, Scotland) I could not bring myself either to care enough if they think we are too rough. Life sentence means prison for life, not eight years. If countries are against us executing their citizens, maybe their governments should warn their citizens not to commit murder when visiting countries with capital punishment.
