Look for managers who consistently beat the market by adhering to a defined strategy. How do you tell?
• All our investment managers had to consistently outperform the market in order to qualify to be listed. • A high Sticks to Strategy score implies the manager made their returns consistent with their strategy. • A high Research Rating translates to a manager whose investments have a compelling rationale that likely does not follow conventional wisdom. The only way to beat the market long term is to be right and non-consensus. • Find a Turnover that suits your tax objectives. A turnover greater than 100% implies that a significant portion of your gains will be short term and therefore taxed at a higher rate. • Make sure to visit the manager’s portfolio page to get a complete picture of how they invest.
