Love at first sight, could our brain and eyes deceive us?

No, I don’t think so. I think our trait of self-deception influences what we see and think. Your question assigns responsibility to our senses as to what we experience in life, whether it be love at first sight or any other of the many and varied experiences. My answer places the responsibility squarely on the shoulders of the trait of self-deception. We see and think what we want to see and think. Stronger forces are in play than just eyes and brain. Our desires run the show. They subcontract the rationalizing out to our senses (including our brains). Its the theory of what you see is what you want. Not what you get.

Good question indeed! Love is not a thing that happens all of a sudden, but it grows on a level from face to physical(body), physical to personality, personality to nature, nature to thoughts & thoughts to spiritual and it gets stronger & stronger at each uplevel but all of these i call Love (at any level they are) so yes i believe in Love at FIRST SIGHT afterall our eyes and brain are not programed to like anyone, they have their own interest and i respect them i fell in Love at First sight with Alizee, Akanksha, Taylor swift, Vandana & it was never lust my freinds also ve their lists(not common) so we have a diff.
