Many so-called relics are questionable. Why is the Shroud any different?
It may or may not be a relic of Jesus, but unlike a bone of some saint or an alleged piece of the cross, the Shroud is unique in its ability to be analyzed. No other known relic has a blood stained image on it corresponding exactly with Jesus’ painful ordeal.
