May I use a netLibrary e-book for a class?

Yes. To create a link to an e-book, access the e-book from ASA, Lehigh’s Library Catalog; When the summary page for the e-book is displayed, copy the e-book’s web address. This is a durable link (URL) that may be copied into a Blackboard or other course webpage. An e-book’s “anytime, anywhere” availability makes it particularly suited for use in distance education courses. Keep in mind that students using the e-book have 15 minute intervals in which to read the book. The e-book can be checked out. During the loan period, only one student at a time will be able to access the e-book. Currently most of our e-book collection includes only one copy shared with PALCI member institutions.
