Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago (MWRDGC) interview process?
Congratulations on scoring an interview with the District! It’s a great engineering organization, especially for engineers looking to impact environmental policy. Tips: Dress appropriately. I know, it’s boring, but it really does matter. Look professional. Bring several copies of a resume. Have people proofread it. Spelling errors are unacceptable. Tailor the resume to the District. It doesn’t have to be on expensive paper, and please do not make a fancy folder out of it. It’s hard for us to file! Research the District. There is a lot of material on-line and available from its Public Affairs Office. Weave information about the District into your answers to questions. This makes you look different from all the others who are just looking for any old job. Remember that this is an entry-level position. The District doesn’t expect you to have the world figured out.
