Musics affect on memory, how would I test?

I would take 5 men and 5 women aged 30 and 5 girls and 5 boys around the ages 13- 18. (These are all SEPERATE groups, take their results seperately.) Make sure that they are not avid music listeners, before you do this test by the way! So, firstly, before they listen to any music, perform a memory test on them. You should probably email a university for help on this, do not use an internet test as they are unreliable. Then, have them listen to a specific band every day for a month. Perform another memory test on them every week. Then just put the results from each group in a line graph- this will show you whether their memory improved from listening to the music. If you have more time, it would be interesting to know whether a specific genre of music helps memory more than others. Also, I made the groups up of teenagers and 30 year olds because this could also potentially show whether young people are more receptive to music and if they are more able to lengthen their memory than older

Well, that is REALLY hard to test, and also really basic. Depending on whether you consider long term memory, and short term memory, the results will vary. One really good way of doing so is making a memory game, like memorizing 10 words. Don’t use the classic memory card game, like the ones you normally see where you match them up, because that game is partially about luck. What you could do is survey 10 of your friends to play the memory game without music, and with music. Then compare and plot the data like… No Music Music Anna 4 7 Peter 2 3 Tony 8 9 Roger 5 4 You can average the data, and see your results!
