Muslims fast for Allah, if Allah was God, why would he be happy to see people starving?
Where do you get the notion that Muslims fast for Allah? There are many reason people fast and the reasons Muslims fast are many too. as for Allah was god if you pick up the old Scoffield version of the bible and turn to genesis 1:1 it says Alah (which is Elah in Hebrew) and Allah in Arabic. Seeing people starving is not because of fasting it’s a test for you to see what you are doing to feed them and cloth them. After all, politicians and people make themselves out to be generous and caring about poverty but they are happy to give away public money or money they would have given away in tax anyway but not from their own pockets. Don;t see where you get happy from either. A teacher would be happy if all his students passed but if they are not studying, learning and passing he can’t just wave them on either.
