Must the lithium batteries be purchased from Speakman Company?
While Speakman does offer them as a repair kit, they are of a standard size commonly used in cameras and other electronic devices. Speakman does, however, recommend use of batteries from one of the leading brands, as we have encountered problems with generic or store brand batteries. All Speakman battery powered units are supplied with Duracell® batteries. Speakman now offers volume pricing on larger quantities of batteries which can make them much less expensive than retail prices.
