If it’s a wedding and reception event that your whole family is invited to, you go to the wedding ceremony and have your husband and son drop you off and then meet you there as soon as it’s over. They can go for a walk or to the park while you’re in the ceremony. I would not risk disturbing the wedding ceremony under any circumstance.
