First, voter registration drives have existed for on campus for the past four years. Some were more successful than others; all had some sort of prize or enticement to get cadets to participate in the election process. The intent was to encourage good citizenship. Neither a particular party nor candidate was ever recommended. This time there is much more activity than normal because we have incorporated some competition between companies (involving food and football tickets- prime motivators in this age group) and the national presidential ticket battle is receiving intense media coverage Second, it matters not where one votes.
