My 4 month old son has a productive cough and is wheezing…is this pneumonia or bronchiolitis again?
If your babay seems happy and content it probably isnt that serious. Little ones can have productive coughs for simple reasons, just because their airways are smaller and narrower. Its probably worth having him checked by your GP because it could be something like asthma as he is wheezing particularly as he has had bronchiolitis recently-the two can be linked. You can discuss your worries about medication at the same time. Likewise the breathing medication you mentioned; was it ventolin? it can give you the shakes etc as you say. If you get your little one checked over it will put your mind at rest and then you can decide whether to use the remedy you bought or if something a little stronger is called for.
