If the system runs but blows fuses every few days or weeks, than it’s one of 2 things; either an insufficient ground or the size of the power wire is too small. In either case, they are causing a restriction on the flow of power. What ends up happening is because power is being restricted, and because your amp requires what it needs, it naturally just draws more and more from the electrical system eventually blows a fuse. – To fix this, first check the ground. It should be bolted down to a solid point to bare metal and the ground wire needs to be as short as possible. If there’s paint on the metal where the ground is mounted, it needs to be striped for a proper metal-to-metal contact and not a screw for a trim panel or the like. – Secondly, check the power terminal at the battery.
